An overview of a new series where I will be reading books by specific authors and will try to learn from them to improve my own writing.
Books on Writing
I’ve read a fair amount of books on writing over the years, but these ones are the ones that I have found the most helpful.
Book Rec: A Touch of Death by Rebecca Crunden
I have mixed feelings about this book. In some regards it was good, but it needed a bit more polishing and there were a couple of aspects that I found to be problematic.
Book Rec: Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko
Raybearer is a fantastic book, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys YA Fantasy. It is wonderfully diverse and the characters are great.
WIP Update
It’s been three months since I’ve finished the first full draft of my novel, and now I’m preparing to dive into edits. I outline my game plan.
Book Rec: The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupéry
This book made me more emotional than I expected it to. I would definitely recommend it, though.
My PCOS Diagnosis Journey
It took me many years to receive my PCOS diagnosis, which has affected my body confidence and health. I’m now learning about how to live well with PCOS.
Book Rec: Harrow the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
This book took a lot of work for me to get through, but I did enjoy it by the end.
